Fine art poster with Cyanotype - Dahlia
Read more
Cyanotype is the oldest copying technique, which began to be used in the mid-19th century using watercolor paper, iron salts, plants or other objects, and the sun. When the paper is exposed to the sun, the blue tones are formed – which is why cyanotype is called a sun print.
It is an entirely analog process and each image becomes unique. This is a reproduction of an original that is printed on matte premium paper.
